At Soverin, we are committed to ensuring the privacy and security of our users.
On March 17th, a very small group of our users were affected by a temporary issue that could have resulted in them receiving emails not addressed to them. Once discovered, we took swift action to block these accounts and investigate the root cause (a human error) to ensure the privacy of our customers and security of the services. We deployed containment and mitigation measures and implemented additional enhanced security measures.
To be fully transparent we have informed all our customers via email. Should you in the highly unlikely case, happen to see mails that are not addressed to you, please delete them immediately from your inbox and your trash folder, and please notify us via incidents@soverin.net.
We are in contact with authorities (AP) and will also be doing a retrospective analysis.
We encourage all our users to inform us should they have any issues or concerns, our support team is always available to assist you.
Should you have a mail account with a different provider, with Soverin as their mail service, please reach out to them in case you should have questions.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this issue may have caused and appreciate your trust in Soverin.
If necessary, we will be posting updates with any further developments.
